1. somebody in the central office did not do his/her job right. HR? OOC? OSE? This is a simple case of lack of sight and poor planning.
2. someone should BE FIRED! Rhee should step up and hold someone accountable for this blunder.
what i don't understand is why there are still many schools in dcps that are at 50% capacity but at the same time a shortage of teachers. i know some folks have been excessed, and it sucks to move people around, but, has there not been enough shuffling the fill vacant positions? are there not enough qualified people to fill the vacancies? what's the deal?
